Dunkirk ‘The Soldiers Story’, Directed by BBC’s Peter Gordon & Edited by John Dinwoodie won the History award while Dox Productions ‘Project Poltergeist’ Directed by David Sington and Edited by Louise Salkow & Horacio Queiro was voted best Science Programme.

The exceptional Graphics of the ‘invisible’ neutrino for ‘Project Poltergeist’ were entirely created by Clear Cut’s graphics Department. These awards confirm Clear Cut Pictures’ strong commitment to excellence in factual programming.
The Grierson award ceremony hosted by Ian Hislop will be shown tonight Thursday Nov 11th on BBC4 followed by a special screening of the ‘The Soldiers Story’.
Audio for both winning programmes was prepared & dubbed by Clear Cut’s talented audio team.

Clear Cut have invested heavily in sound in the last 2 years, and Clear Cut Theatre 3, one of the most versatile mixing theatres in London, in the hands of our talented mixing team, is ideal for high-quality factual or drama productions.
Currently Editing right now at Clear Cut are BBC’s "Horizon", "Money Programme", "Crimewatch" "Playground" "Can’t Sing Singers" and Bill Oddie’s How to watch Wildlife. Also Sky’s "Love Joy Offside", Atlantic’s "Mummy Autopsy" , RDFs ‘Town and Country’ and features ‘On a clear Day’ and ‘The Listener’.
Recently completed is BBC4’s 10 part Series ‘Family Ties’.

Completing now is Clear Cut’s facility-wide Wiring project.
This will enable any offline kit to be installed in any suite, with instant access to any deck through a central matrix. Outputting or laying off to tape and web- transmission will now be quicker and easier too. Productions can choose to offline on any Avid Media Composer or Adrenaline as well as Avid DV Express Pro, Final cut Pro or Lightworks Touch.
The project is the result of Clear Cut Pictures policy of staying at the forefront of Technological advances, and means productions will find our excellent support team able to respond even more quickly to their needs. It also means media-sharing between productions will be simpler and easier too, and makes Clear Cut a strong and reliable contender for quick turnaround productions which share media.

Our kit list includes the complete Avid range, Lightworks Touch, Final Cut Pro together with all formats of VTR’s, with 24 hour support by our qualified engineers and guarantee the seamless transition through to the quality finishing services available at Clear Cut Pictures.
