Technical Support
Clear Cut offers full technical back-up with 8 full-time support staff trained to assist throughout your post - production and ensure a smooth transition from off-line rostrum and graphics to image & audio finishing.
In-House support is available between 09:00 & 20:00, 7 days a week and a telephone support line deals with out of hours queries.

All our suites are spacious, air-conditioned, offer natural light and are comfortable and quiet. All of our staff are professional and efficient and available to help and support every stage of the post-production process from booking to transmission
Machine Room for background noise reduction
Our suites are connected to a separate machine room area, banishing whirring computers & memory drives far from the creative environment. This reduces intrusive Edit-Suite noise to an absolute minimum and gives remote access to a complete range of VT sources from Digibeta to DV.

Digital Rostrum
Offers unprecedented image enhancement and retouching, as well as the complex movements familiar with traditional rostrum camera.
Tape Transfers and Storage
Transfers to and from Digibeta, SX, Betacam SP,DV, DVCAM, Hi 8, VHS, DAT & DA88 CD & DVD. Encoding in a variety of formats including MPEG. Long & Short Term rushes storage facilities and logging system. Clear Cut are also developing an archive picture library. All we need is a client's shot-list and the most memorable or historical shots can be added to the library. Why throw away your best shots when they might be of value archived through the web?

We maintain an extensive database of over 50 skilled Non-Linear freelance Editors, and are happy to suggest suitable and available staffing for your project.
Clear Cut Bookings
Our aim is to provide the simplest, most cost-effective route for your post-production, and we are happy to plan with you in detail the specific requirements for your project. Our bookings team is helpful, flexible and happy to deal with last minute schedule changes.
Lounge Facilities
2 Lounge & Kitchen areas with built-in tea points add a sense of space and offer the opportunity to meet other Film-makers and Editors, in a sociable, friendly environment. Hot and Cold drinks, breakfast and an order service for all other catering needs are available, as are shower-room & wash facilities for overnighters.
